The Arthur Miller School Board invites applications from whānau who wish to enrol their tamariki at Arthur Miller School for 2024.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, more details of which are available on our school website.

Enrolment forms may be collected or emailed from the school office.

The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is spread across the year.  You can apply for a place at earlier ballot deadlines prior to your term start.  Take note of the timeline below:

Term 1 2024 start - deadline 1 November 2023 [Ballot 3 November 2023]

Term 2 2024 start - deadline 21 February 2024 [Ballot 1 March 2024]

Term 3 2024 start - deadline 29 May 2024 [Ballot 31 May 2024]

Term 4 2024 start - deadline 21 August 2024 [Ballot 23 August 2024]

Parents of students who live within the home zone should also enrol their child by these dates to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year. If accurate in-zone numbers are unavailable out of zone applications for enrolment may be deferred until the next ballot.

The board has determined that approximately twenty places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students next year for new entrant placements. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.  There are approximately four places available at each year level from 1-4 for the 2024 year.  If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.

Parents of out-of-zone applicants will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
