The Arthur Miller School Board invites applications from whānau who wish to enrol their tamariki at Arthur Miller School for 2025.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, more details of which are available on our school website.

Enrolment forms may be collected or emailed from the school office.

The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is spread across the year.  You can apply for a place at earlier ballot deadlines prior to your term start.  Take note of the timeline below:

Term 1 2026 start - deadline 5 November 2025 [Ballot 7 November 2025]

Term 2 2026 start - deadline 4 March 2026 [Ballot 6 March 2026]

Term 3 2026 start - deadline 20 May 2026 [Ballot 22 May 2026]

Term 4 2026 start - deadline 19 August 2026 [Ballot 21 August 2026]

Term 1 2027 start - deadline 11 November 2026 [Ballot 13 November 2026]

Parents of students who live within the home zone should also enrol their child by these dates to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year. If accurate in-zone numbers are unavailable out of zone applications for enrolment may be deferred until the next ballot.

The board has determined that approximately 25 places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students next year for new entrant placements. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.  There are approximately two places available at each year level from 1-6 for the 2025 year.  If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.

Parents of out-of-zone applicants will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
