Policies

The Board of Trustees is required to comply with all legal requirements set down under New Zealand laws. Policies are developed by the board to provide a framework for the smooth running of the school.  They are always available to parents.

The Arthur Miller board has key policies in each of these areas...

• Curriculum Delivery (National Administration Guideline 1)
• Self Review (National Administration Guideline 2)
• Personnel (National Administration Guideline 3))
• Finance and Property (National Administration Guideline 4)
• Health and Safety (National Administration Guideline 5)
• Legislation (National Administration Guideline 6)

In addition policies within each of these areas.  For example, there is a procedure on Bullying that sits within the Health and Safety area.  Within Curriculum delivery we have a Special Needs policy. Under Personnel we have a Complaints against Employees policy. These particular policies and procedures are on the homepage Important Policies for you to read.  If you wish to see all our policies please call in or email the Office and Ngaire, our Office Manager, will make them available to you.
